We’ve all been there – accidentally deleted an email or another item from a mailbox and then emptied the deleted items folder and then thinking that an email message that has been permanently deleted is needed!
Fortunately, there is an easy way to recover permanently deleted items either directly from the Outlook email client or through Outlook Web Access
To restore permanently deleted email using Outlook Web Access go to the following website https://webmail.focuscloud.co.nz and log in using your Focus Cloud email username and password.
When logged in, right click on the ‘Deleted Items’ folder and select ‘Recover Deleted Items’.
A list of all the permanently deleted items then appears.
To restore the item, highlight the item to be restored and click the 
icon. Select the location to restore the message to and press ‘Recover’. Alternatively, a new folder can be created to restore the message to.
When finished recovering email close the ‘Recover To Folder’ window.
The restored message then appears in the Outlook inbox as unread.
To recover deleted items in Outlook 2013 right click on the Deleted Items folder and select ‘Recover Deleted Items’.
The ‘Recover Deleted Items’ folder then appears.
Highlight the message to be restored and click the button. The highlighted message will then be returned to the Deleted Items folder. Alternatively, to restore all email in the ‘Recover Deleted Items’ list click on the 
button prior to clicking the button.
