What to expect in one of our webinars

A GoToMeeting Webinar is like an online conference where you and other attendees join a meeting hosted by Focus. You will be able to see the presenters screen and hear the presenter speak.

When you register for a webinar you will be sent an email with information on how to join the webinar.

In the email it will contain:

  • A link to join the webinar at the specified date and time
  • Audio options to listen to the presenter
  • A Webinar ID number

If you click the link to join the webinar before the specified date and time you will receive a message advising it is not open yet to attendees.

5 minutes before the specified date and time you will be able to click the link and join the webinar before its scheduled start.

Once successfully connected you will be able to see the presenters screen.

At this time you may also wish to dial the phone number listed in the email and enter the Access Code.

Once your audio is successfully connected you will hear the presenter greeting people as others connect to the webinar and begin their speech.

If you have any problems connecting to the webinar or unable to connect your audio device please call the Focus support number (0800 12 00 99) immediately.

During the meeting you will have a GoToMeeting tool window where you can ask questions and close the meeting all together.

To help improve your next webinar experience, after you close the meeting window you will be asked to complete and submit an optional survey on what you thought about the webinar.
